This all expenses paid fishing trip will see you and a mate jetting off to Vanuatu for five nights with Rokkit Kit, staying at Trees and fishes private retreat. You’ll be able to enjoy 4 full days of fishing onboard one of Ocean Blue’s fully kitted out sport fishing boats, captained by an experienced skipper. Each day you’ll return from fishing and experience a spectacular setting warm hospitality and delicious gourmet cuisine.

VIEW TRIP DETAILS

Day 1 – Arrival

Trees & Fishes, Vanuatu
Upon arrival at Port Vila International Airport, you will be met by a member of the Ocean Blue team. After all luggage is loaded, enjoy the scenic 40-minute drive to Trees and Fishes Private Retreat. You will be greeted by your host, who will brief you on the experience you’re about to undertake. After completing the formalities, sit back and take in the breathtaking scenery while enjoying your favourite beverage before your gourmet sit-down dinner & raising your glass to the marvellous week ahead.

Day 2 – Fishing (8hrs)

Blue Water Pelagics
Board one of Ocean Blue’s EdgeWater 318 Centre Console Sport Fishers for your first day of fishing. You’ll hit the offshore grounds and FADs where you’ll have the opportunity to target yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, mahi-mahi, and marlin. You’ll be casting surface lures, jigging, and doing a little trolling while chasing these offshore speedsters. Upon your return to the lodge, enjoy a swim, take part in one of the local activities, or sit back and relax before indulging in your gourmet dinner.

Day 3 – Fishing (8hrs)

Sailfish and Wahoo
Board one of Ocean Blue’s EdgeWater 318 Centre Console Sport Fishers for your second day of fishing. You’ll fish the inshore grounds, targeting blue-water speedsters including wahoo and sailfish. You’ll also have the opportunity to cast surface lures for GT, coral trout, red bass, and jobfish. Again, return to the lodge, enjoy a swim, participate in a cultural activity, or simply relax at the bar before tonight’s gourmet dinner.

Day 4 – Fishing (8hrs)

Dogtooth Tuna
Board one of Ocean Blue’s EdgeWater 318 Centre Console Sport Fishers for your third day of fishing. Today, it’s all about dogtooth tuna. You’ll be fishing in the well-known dogtooth tuna haunts where you’ll have the opportunity to drop your jig or live bait in hopes of landing a trophy. One of the toughest fish to land, once hooked, just hold on! Other species often encountered while chasing dogtooth include amberjack, coral trout, red bass, and jobfish.

Day 5 – Fishing (8hrs)

Your Call
Board one of our EdgeWater 318 Centre Console Sport Fishers for your fourth day of fishing. Based on the last three days of fishing, your guide will identify what type of fishing you enjoyed, what was successful, and devise a plan for your last day. Whether it’s chasing marlin and tuna offshore, wahoo and sailfish inshore, or GT and dogtooth, your guide will do his best to conclude a great week with a memorable day.

Departure

Enjoy your last morning at leisure swimming or snorkelling or relaxing in the cascading pool. You will be transferred late morning for the scenic drive back to Port Vila airport for your afternoon departure.
